An antique official map of the Territory of Dakota showing the two general divisions of North Dakota and South Dakota. This beautifully detailed map from the public domain was created by Dakota Territory Department of Immigration and Statistics and published in 1886 by Rand McNally & Co. Shown are land districts, Indian reservations, counties, towns and railroads. This reproduction map has been restored and converted to black and white.

I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. I like to explore every nook and cranny of anywhere I visit and I'm always looking out for something unusual or unique, weird and wonderful, interesting and intriguing.
