Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Steins Pillar, 4377', 1334m, and the Mill Creek Valley in Ochoco National Forest. This rhyolite monolith, which overhangs on all sides, is near Prineville in east central Oregon. The photo is 350-500' high depending on which side of it you are on. Photo taken 7-13-1991.
Ed began photographing seriously in 1956 when he started shooting in a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 camera. In 1962 he started shooting in 4x5 film format with a view camera, and over the next 50 years built perhaps the largest private library of large format inspirational, mountain and nature images in North America.
